Not gonna lie, it showed up later than I expected, but the tracking was actually reliable the whole time, so at least I knew where it was.

The cafe has a cool vibe and the coffee was decent, but the whole visit felt more stressful than relaxing. It was super loud and packed, and trying to find a seat was a hassle. The staff seemed really rushed, which I get when it’s busy, but no one really seemed to take ownership of anything or help make the situation easier. I’d maybe grab a coffee to go, but I wouldn’t come here expecting a calm sit-down experience.

I ordered a bag of Sightglass beans after seeing a bunch of people say good things, so maybe my expectations were a little too high going in. Shipping was totally fine, and the bag seemed fresh enough when it arrived.

The coffee itself was good, I think? It had that bright, clean flavor, but for me it leaned a little sharper than I usually like. I tried it as both pour over and french press, and I kept wondering if I was doing something slightly wrong because it came out a bit thin a couple times.

Overall, I definitely wouldn’t call it bad coffee, just not something I was excited about for the price. I might try a different roast from them eventually, because maybe this one just wasn’t the best match for me, but I’d put this bag around 3 stars.

Ordered coffee from Sightglass the packaging was such a nice surprise. Like, why is it so rare for something to show up looking like someone actually cared? The bag was clean, sturdy, and not all beat up, which already puts it ahead of way too many things I’ve ordered lately. No dents, no weird mess, no “well, I guess it survived shipping” situation.
I also really liked the little label details. The roast info was easy to read, everything felt simple and classy, and it wasn’t trying too hard. Just a well-put-together bag of coffee that made the whole order feel a little more special. Tiny thing, maybe, but it makes a difference. Would definitely order again.

I ordered two bags , and both just didn’t taste very fresh . One roast was much darker than I expected , while the other came across flat with barely any aroma . Maybe I just got an off batch , but at this price I was let down ...

I usually try not to spend too much on coffee, but Sightglass feels fair for what you get. It’s definitely not the cheapest bag online, but the beans tasted literally so fresh, and one bag lasted me a decent while.
Shipping was fine, nothing special, but once I brewed it at home the price made more sense. I’d say it’s a good value if you want better coffee without getting too fancy about it.
